How the Guide website is organized?

There are five major sections:

  • What is the Change Process?  We offer a brief overview of systems theory and change theory as they evolved in the 20th century, starting with the work of Gestalt psychologist Kurt Lewin.
  • What is the Social and Organizational Context in which you are embedded? Guide to help you position yourself as an agent of change in a particular place and time.
  • What are the Stages of the Process ? The essentials of the Guide reside here. You could skip the rest if you are in a hurry.
  • What ROLES can you play or what ACTIONS can you take? The stage model suggests many types of change agent. Which one do you want to play? Which one can you afford to ignore? Which ones suggest you need more help or training?
  • Case Studies.  We are preparing a few examples of actual change projects which exemplify the seven stage model. This section is still in preparation.  

There is a logical order to all this, but it is not compelling. You can do it your way! You can start anywhere and go anywhere and we think you will be rewarded. However, as you go along, it would be wise to keep this seven stage circle in mind.
